Instead of dancing along himself, professional dancer Christian Polanc is only staying loyal to “Let's Dance” as a spectator this year.
He comments on the events in a new format and has already decided on a favorite.
Cologne – The first episode of the 17th season of “Let's Dance” caused a stir on February 23rd because a lot of things are unusual this year.
The converted studio gave rise to discussions and the fans also have to get used to new faces among the professionals.
Show veteran Christian Polanc (45) has already caught the eye of a potential winner.
Christian Polanc is not on “Let’s Dance” after 15 seasons – but comments
Three of the well-known professional dancers are pregnant and Christian Polanc is no longer there after 15 seasons.
As he announced on his Instagram channel, this was more for time reasons because he was busy with other projects such as his dance studio and his fitness dance program.
But he remains loyal to the program: he comments on the weekly events via live stream and with a new podcast.
In episode one of “Let's Talk About Dance”, his ex-colleague Christina Hänni (34), who was taking a break due to her pregnancy, was a guest.
In it they expressed disagreement with the jury's evaluation - and Polanc even allowed himself to be persuaded to choose a favorite.

Because celebrities with dance experience are also taking part in the current season, for example “Popstars” choreographer Detlef D!
Soost (53), Christina Hänni attributes this “potential”.
Polanc would put Soost on the top three list for men, but secretly has another favorite: Gabriel Kelly (22), son of singer Angelo Kelly (42).
Polanc could have a good nose for this, after all the nephew of Maite Kelly, who won “Let's Dance” with Polanc in 2011, directly secured the most jury points and the most audience votes.
In 2024, the professional dancer will no longer be on “Let’s Dance”.
He now comments on what happened in a podcast.

Both Christian Polanc and his podcast guest Christina Hänni attest that the Kelly offspring has a “delicate style” when it comes to dancing and, according to the professionals, he learns really quickly.
He has no experience with ballroom dancing and, like his family members, is a singer and also raps.
As part of the show, the 22-year-old newcomer told us what life in the famous Kelly family is like for him.
Gabriel Kelly reveals that he is not as close to his aunt Maite Kelly as many people think.
