Families who book a package trip for their vacation in 2024 will have to expect increased costs in many places.
But three destinations have also become cheaper.
Many families have already planned their summer vacation for 2024.
And those who haven't booked yet will benefit from early bird discounts until around the end of February or the end of March - depending on the tour operator - as the
German Travel Association (DRV)
informs.
As the travel booking portal
HolidayCheck
has determined, there are also a few popular travel destinations that have become cheaper compared to the previous year.

Last year, a ten-day package trip including flights and meals to the Turkish Riviera cost families 3,700 euros.
In 2024, the average prices will be 3,400 euros – a decrease of eight percent.
The Greek island of Rhodes, which suffered heavily from forest fires last year and is now offering free trips to affected holidaymakers, has also become cheaper.
Instead of 3,800 euros, families only pay 3,500 euros (-8 percent).
The Egyptian beach destination Hurghada has also become six percent cheaper for families - although prices here are now 4,100 euros (4,400 euros last year), so the destination is still one of the more expensive.
