Thirteen privately sponsored roundabouts to help maintain constant decorum in the city of Ancona.
The act of direction was approved by the Municipal Council and intends to start a series of collaborations that can contribute to government action on the urban decor front.
The start of this new form of partnership, explains the Municipality, "is accelerated by the imminent G7 Health and by the desire to make the city more pleasant in its appearance, taking inspiration from this important international event. The sponsorship allows private individuals to publicize their activity and the Municipality to have careful and punctual maintenance of the roundabouts, which for years have been subject to neglect and abandonment".
The areas "will maintain the function of public use, for private use the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of the roundabout for the three-year period of assignment (preferable maximum period) as well as any luminous or aquatic choreographies. Some of the roundabouts are positioned in the route that the ministerial delegations will follow in the transfers from Ancona airport -Falconara at the Mole Vanvitelliana and in any case at the entrance to the city, particularly visible".
The roundabouts affected by the address are located in various parts of the city: from the Torrette roundabout near the regional hospital (via Conca-via Tenna and via Conca-via DiGiuseppe) to the central Galleria San Martino (via Marconi); from the Galleria del Risorgimento , always in the center (piazza della Libertà-via Martiri della Resistenza-via Bocconi-via XXV Aprile) to the tourist resort of Portonovo, upper and lower, up to the neighborhoods of Posatora (via della Grotta-via Blasi), Collemarino (piazzale Romita-via Flaminia -via Da Vinci-via Ricci);
