On video: Gallant's statement on the recruitment law 28.02.24/le
Defense Minister Yoav Galant yesterday (Wednesday) placed a multi-stage explosive device in the (extended) cabinet room.
Gallant's statement yesterday was the most important statement heard here since the October 7 massacre.

Gallant announced that the security establishment would submit such a recruitment law that all coalition factions would support.
He turned the state camp of Gantz and Eisenkot into a veto player.
It turned into an hourglass, at the end of which there were only three options: the first, the submission of the ultra-Orthodox to a recruitment plan to be agreed between the Likud (Galant) and Gantz and Eisenkot.
