Number of job vacancies remains at a historic high
The agency's CEO, Nicole Cujai, says: “The number of reported job vacancies remains high in historical comparison at 4,760.
There are professional groups such as mechanical and automotive engineering as well as mechatronics, energy and electrical professions or nursing, in which there are more job vacancies registered than applicants.” The demand for candidates is also high on the apprenticeship market.
Cujai: “Many companies are still looking for young people to start training with them in the fall.
There were almost 3,200 open apprenticeships reported in February.” Most of the offers were in the professions of retail clerk (268), salesperson (199), doctor and practice assistant (170), office management clerk (117), chef (99) and business specialist (97).
The agency reported 797 vacancies in the Miesbach district.
