The police have arrested a man (31) who broke into a single-family home.
Markt Schwaben
- An initially unknown perpetrator gained access to a single-family home in Markt Schwaben on Tuesday, February 27th.
The Erding criminal police took over the investigation.
The suspect was later arrested.
A spokesman for the Upper Bavaria-Nord Police Department announced this on Thursday, February 29th.
The man got into the building by smashing a basement window.
There was no damage to the prey.
Burglar escapes on foot
When the resident of the single-family home on Ebersbergerstrasse in Markt Schwaben came home around 10:45 a.m., an unknown man approached him from inside his house.
The suspect then fled the house on foot.
As part of a local search that was immediately initiated, the man was arrested a short time later a few streets away.
Judge orders pre-trial detention
At the request of the Munich II public prosecutor's office, the 31-year-old man from the Markt Schwaben area was brought before a judge on Wednesday, February 28th, who ordered his pre-trial detention.
The accused was then transferred to a correctional facility.
“The suspect is also being investigated by the Erding criminal police and the Poing police station on suspicion of further break-ins into residential buildings and commercial establishments.
