We know the impact of pollution emitted by air traffic on the health of the planet, particularly in terms of carbon footprint.
But we know less about its direct effects on those living near airports.
And this is what Airparif wants to try to improve.
In a study to be published this Thursday morning, co-financed by the Métropole du Grand Paris, the City of Paris, the regional health agency, the Paris-Saclay agglomeration community and the ADP group, the health quality observatory Air in Île-de-France measured pollution levels around Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle, located north of the capital.
