Inka Bause is one of the most famous TV personalities in the country, but not everything in her life always went smoothly.

Two severe blows of fate still shape her to this day.

Dresden – Inka Bause (55) has done it: The Leipzig-born singer started out as a pop singer back in the GDR era, but since she appeared on “Bauer sucht Frau” in 2005, the multi-talented presenter has also been known outside the music world.

That's why she has been one of the biggest stars in German show business for almost two decades.

Things haven't always been easy for the 55-year-old.

Tragic: Inka Bause had to cope with two early deaths

Because two serious strokes of fate shook her life: her father Arndt Bause (†66), who made music history in the GDR as a hit composer, died suddenly on February 11, 2003 as a result of a pulmonary embolism.

Inka Bause's ex-husband, the singer and producer Hendrik Bruch (†53), to whom she was married from 1996 to 2005, also passed away far too early.

The circumstances seem particularly tragic: Bruch, with whom Inka Bause had their daughter Anneli (27) in 1996, suffered from depression for years.

On September 12, 2016, he committed suicide in his hometown of Berlin.

Despite severe blows of fate: Inka Bause looks forward every day

These two losses had a lasting impact on the “Bauer sucht Frau” presenter: “Of course it was bad to lose my father so early, who didn’t grow old.

Of course it was bad to lose my husband, the father of my daughter.

“It wasn’t all that nice,” said Inka Bause in the “Exclusive” interview at the Semper Opera Ball.

The experience left its mark: “It made me the person I am today.”

Because of these experiences, she knows that “everything can be over any day.”

That's why she wants to enjoy every day anew - a healthy attitude that gives the 55-year-old a lot of zest for life and positive energy.
