Following the tragedy, a two-speed resumption of activity?
Eight months after the fire of the 19 shops in the Croix-Blanche shopping center in Mée-sur-Seine (Seine-et-Marne), on the night of June 29 to 30, 2023, during the wave of urban riots in 66 departments and 516 municipalities in France, bitterness dominates among the traders of the site completely destroyed by the flames.
Apart from the boss of Carrefour City who will open a pop-up store on March 27 in the premises of the former Camus nursery school, with the shoemaker, the retoucher and the SeMée association right next door, apart from a baker relocated to Savigny-le- Temple in municipal premises as part of a lease, what about the other independents who ran a shop on this disaster site?
