The eventful journey of a 26-year-old individual began mid-morning on Tuesday at a service station in Saint-Malo-de-Guersac, in Loire-Atlantique.
Equipped with a crowbar, this man is suspected of having broken into the coin mechanism of a washing station in order to rob it.
The station manager then called the police to warn them.
The police quickly thought of a profile likely to be the perpetrator.
They then went to his home town, Donges, and spotted the white Citroën C3, which had no intention of obeying them.
During the first injunction, the fugitive hit a police car and a gate.
Then, throughout the chase, two other law enforcement vehicles were struck, as well as that of a private individual.
Fortunately, no police officer was injured but a complaint will be filed regarding this damage.

Finally, the fugitive was arrested on foot, as was the passenger who joined him later.
The latter was released but the driver was prosecuted for “aggravated theft”, “refusal to comply endangering the lives of others”, “lack of license and insurance”.

, this father of an 8-year-old girl already had nine mentions in his record for theft and refusal to comply.
He was released from prison last August.
Still according to the weekly, his trial was postponed until March 27, time to prepare his defense.
In the meantime, he was remanded in custody.
