A tip here and there: this is how Günther Jauch is known in the RTL quiz show “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” – but this time the presenter perhaps helped a little too much.
Hürth – But someone went overboard: In the current “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” issue (February 26, 2024), moderator Günther Jauch (67) helped a candidate a little too much in answering his question – the WWM Participants are of course happy.
And the audience was also very amused by the showmaster's help and his reaction.

It's not the first time that Günther Jauch has blurted out his words in front of a "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" candidate and thereby revealed to him the correct answer.
In the current edition (February 26, 2024), the RTL presenter also acted very hastily and gave his show participant Sebastian Wilkens (40) a correct answer.
For 4,000 euros, the sommelier has to know how many squares are shown on a mill game board - but he is unsure and chooses the audience joker.

The director logs in the solution, the 40-year-old is one round further and then the showmaster suddenly notices: “I forgot to ask if you wanted to take the three of them.
I've decided now.

“Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” has not only been a real ratings hit in this country for years, the TV show, which originally came from Great Britain (there: “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?”), has also developed into a real mass phenomenon internationally.
The quiz show has been licensed in over 100 countries worldwide, including Albania, Austria, Belgium, Turkey, the Netherlands, Italy, Vietnam, Poland, Portugal and Switzerland.
The program sequence, the optics and the music are often almost identical.

The studio guests burst out laughing and Günther Jauch also finds the whole situation very amusing.
In order to calm the RTL show host's conscience, the quiz participant assures that he would have taken the answer option anyway.
But the moderator waves it off: “If it was a lie, no one will notice.”
Nevertheless, the 67-year-old makes it clear that the WWM candidate cannot expect any further help from him: “It’s all good.
But they are entirely responsible for themselves again for 8,000.”

To this day, RTL regularly gets excellent ratings with “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” and presenter Günther Jauch and leaves the competition far behind.
