Alexei Navalny will be buried on Friday.
The spokeswoman for his campaign remembers the deceased - and encourages people to attend the ceremony.
Moscow - Yulia Navalnaya, the widow of the recently deceased Kremlin critic Alexei Anatolyevich Navalny, has published a video on the short message service X (formerly Twitter) that calls for people to attend the Kremlin critic's funeral.
Given the repression in Russia, this may not be without risk.
The opposition figure will be buried on Friday (March 1) at 2 p.m. local time (12 p.m. CET) at the Borisov Cemetery in southeast Moscow.

In the video message published on Thursday, you can hear an urgent appeal from the spokeswoman for the Navalny campaign, Kira Yarmysch, to the people of Russia.
Navalny was a funny, courageous and honest person, everyone who knew him knew that, she explained.
But even those who have never met the Kremlin critic know what he was like and know him very well.

Many of you became interested in politics because of Navalny and believed that change was possible because of him.
His example showed many what to do when things were scary and difficult.”
Alexei Navalny achieved that everyone knew him, which was one of his most important strengths.
He neither hid from danger nor tried to be a different person.
“He was honest and courageous, told the truth, on this channel and in general, and kept his word.
“He infected everyone with an unshakable hope that everything would work out,” Jarmysch continued.
