The initial investigations on site were carried out by officers from the Bad Tölz police station and the Kochel am See police station.

Further processing was then passed on to the responsible specialist commissioner 2 of the Weilheim criminal police.

Tips from the public lead the police on the trail

As the press office of the Upper Bavaria South Police Headquarters in Rosenheim now reports, it was tips from the public that led the officers on the trail of a suspect as part of their extensive investigation.

The responsible public prosecutor's office in Munich II issued a search warrant for the suspect's apartment, which the police implemented on Wednesday.

The 26-year-old was temporarily arrested.

During the subsequent interrogation, the man confessed to the crimes.

The police are currently still evaluating the seized items.

The police say the investigation is ongoing.

The suspect was released after criminal investigations were completed.
