Once again, more people are being counted without a job in the country.
However, compared to the previous month of January, the increase is small.
Saarbrücken/Mainz - The number of unemployed people in Rhineland-Palatinate has increased slightly again.
In February, 121,800 women and men were without a job, 600 or 0.5 percent more than in the previous month of January, as the regional directorate of the Federal Employment Agency announced on Thursday in Saarbrücken.
The unemployment rate remained unchanged at 5.4 percent in February.
Compared to February of the previous year, 11,200 or 10.1 percent more unemployed people were counted in Rhineland-Palatinate.
According to the regional directorate, the unemployment rate was 4.9 percent a year ago.
The deadline for collecting February data was February 14th.
