The public prosecutor Livia Locci has asked for 14 years in prison for one of the young people accused in the case of Mauro Glorioso, the Sicilian university student who on 21 January 2022 suffered very serious injuries after being hit by an electric bike thrown from the balustrade of the Murazzi del Po river in Turin.
The trial is being celebrated with the abbreviated rite.
The nineteen-year-old defendant is called to answer for attempted murder.
The prosecutor stated that he should not be recognized as having generic mitigating circumstances.
The bicycle was deliberately dropped towards a group of people unexpected to enter a room.
For this matter, three minors have already been sentenced at first instance to sentences ranging from nine years and nine months to six years and eight months.
A girl, an adult, will be tried in December with the ordinary rite.
