In the midst of its confrontation with the provinces, the Government presented a per saltum appeal to the Supreme Court for the highest court to
inhibit the Rawson judge who ruled in favor of Chubut
and to intervene in the lawsuit for the Transportation Compensation Fund.
This is
Hugo Ricardo Sastre
, from the Rawson Federal Court No. 1, who a week ago asked that the Nation refrain from cutting or removing transportation subsidies in that province.
In addition, he requested that the Court take the case into its hands.
That court is also the one that ruled in the same sense in the bid between the Casa Rosada and Chubut for the 13.5 billion pesos of co-participation that Governor Ignacio "Nacho" Torres demands from the government of Javier Milei.
"The Attorney General of the Treasury of the Nation presented today the first action of its strategy regarding the Chubut case for the Transportation Compensation Fund. The CSJN was asked to inhibit Judge Rawson and to intervene because he is the competent Court to this, because it corresponds to the original jurisdiction and because of the institutional significance of the issue. End", announced Manuel Adorni, presidential spokesperson, on his Twitter account.
The Minister of Justice, Mariano Cúneo Libarona, had explained this week that the Government is analyzing presenting an appeal per saltum in the case of co-participation funds.
