About two weeks ago I returned from Gaza after about four months of reserve service, in the streets of Khan Yunis I found brave fighters, some of whom strongly oppose the party that I am one of the leaders of and some of whom support it.
But when we looked intently we found in front of us only one enemy and we fought against him, we lived next to each other for many months with the understanding that what we have in common is greater than what separates us, this may just be a cliché or a slogan but it is also the truth.
Last night we saw that the one who divides, slanders and causes a discourse full of hate - crashed at the polls.
The public is fed up with negative campaigns, a messiah, fed up with the breaking of unity and the disintegration of Israeli society into elements.
When we started campaigning for the local authorities about a year ago, I asked our representatives all over the country to produce unifying and unifying campaigns, we all saw the results last night.
Religious Zionism was able to combine mayors, to combine dozens of representatives from all over the country as council members, and the unifying campaigns that want to add goodness and light to all the citizens of Israel have proven themselves.

I was asked by a number of senior people today, including interviews in various media outlets, about how in some polls the religious Zionist party does not pass the threshold, while in the municipal elections we saw tremendous success for the party, I do not have a scientific answer to the issue, but I know that the reality is probably different from the polls and it is not always the one who makes noise in Kaplan or on Twitter and spends huge sums on billboards in Ayalon, he is the one who wins the ballot.
In the end, the national religious community is a strong community, with values and with great belonging and commitment to the road and it always returns home in the end.
I also know that there is a direct connection between the municipal success and the national success, we as the party leadership through the various ministers will be accessible to those local elected officials, they will be able to help the public and I believe that we will also see the fruits in the national elections when they come.
But most of all, the real fruits are a more respectful discourse and the addition of light and goodness to all citizens of Israel.
