Thomas Gottschalk was repeatedly accused of touching female guests conspicuously often on “Wetten, dass..?”.

Now the moderator defends himself.

Cologne – Thomas Gottschalk (73) has had enough: For years, the “Wetten,dass..?” favorite had to put up with the accusation of not being particularly squeamish when it came to being touched in front of the camera.

Based on these claims, a hand on the knee or shoulder quickly appears disastrous.

The entertainer doesn't want to let that happen.

Thomas Gottschalk has had enough: He objects to groping rumors: “I’m getting annoyed”

In the latest episode of his podcast “Die Supernasen”, which he runs together with his friend and colleague Mike Krüger (72), Thomas Gottschalk responds very clearly to the groping allegations: “I'm starting to get annoyed, I have to say honestly. from these eternal accusations that I was the forefather of the act on television,” rages the 73-year-old.

He defends himself with clear words: “I believe that I have never in my life exceeded my competence as a presenter and when I touched women, I only held them to prevent them from running to the jet.” He is convinced , never having “behaved immorally” or “groping any women against their will”.

There was also prompt encouragement from his podcast partner: “Thomas certainly didn't need to be on 'Wetten, dass..?'

to grope any women,” says Mike Krüger.

Thomas Gottschalk: an award-winning career

Over the course of his remarkable career, Thomas Gottschalk has received numerous awards and honors: The TV star has received prestigious awards such as the Golden Camera (1995), the German Television Prize (1999 and 2009), the Bavarian Television Prize (1999), the Romy (1990 and 1996) or most recently, in 2003, the Bavarian Maximilian Order for Science and Art.

He has also been an honorary citizen of his hometown of Kulmbach since 2001.

Perhaps the strangest honor of his career came in 1985 when he was named Pipe Smoker of the Year.

“Wetten, dass..?” favorite Thomas Gottschalk rejects allegations: “Wasn’t an acter”

For Thomas Gottschalk, who once met his Karina (62) thanks to a basket for Carmen Nebel (67), such accusations have now become intolerable.

This is also why he once again clearly classifies his view of things: “I was not a doer and never wanted to have been.

And when I did, it was never that I gave the impression that I had done something to the women that they had suffered from for a long time.”

However, the cult presenter apparently has his problems with some of his colleagues from the show and TV business: Thoms Gottschalk not only commented on rapper Shirin David (28), but also made fun of the “Wetten, dass..? “Finale also about Katzenberger’s mother Iris Klein (56).
