This Thursday one of the most shocking tragedies of last year was resurfaced on the internet: the implosion of the Titan, the Titanic submarine.

It was after the appearance of

an audio

that the rescuers heard during the search for the submersible and that made them think that the crew of the Titan, about whom nothing was known at that time,

could be alive

.

On June 18, 2023, in international waters of the Atlantic, the OceanGate submersible traveled to the bottom of the ocean and never resurfaced.

After a search of approximately 80 hours, the debris of the ship was discovered.

It was later concluded that it had imploded and instantly killed its five crew members.

The audio, although it has already circulated on social networks, will be broadcast in the British Channel 5 documentary

The Titan Sub Disaster: Minute by Minute

on March 5 and 6.

The audio reproduces hits against metal that occurred at 11:30 p.m. on June 20.

These resounded at thirty-minute intervals, which led to the belief that they could be a distress signal from the crew.

Unfortunately, the call for help was quickly dismissed when rescuers realized that the sounds could not be produced by humans due to their “unusual symmetry.”

They will be played for the first time to the public in a Channel 5 documentary.

Authorities suggested they could have been produced by the ocean or other ships in the area, although it is not yet known exactly where they emerged from.

The animation that explains the implosion

One of the videos explaining how the Titanic submarine imploded was all the rage on YouTube.

The clip published by AiTelly, a channel specialized in original 4K and 3D engineering animations, allows us to understand what happened to Titan on its mission to the wreckage of the liner.

AiTelly attributes the total destruction of the Titan to high hydrostatic pressure.

For the engineers who developed the video, the submersible was destroyed “in a fraction of a millisecond.”

Another part of the responsibility is placed on those who built the Titan for having used carbon fiber.

“The existing technology is based on steel, titanium and aluminum.

These are the ones that prevented other submarines from being crushed.

But the Titan has had an experimental design,” the video says.

A recreation shows how the Titan submarine would have exploded.

It was on June 22 when it was confirmed that the submarine had imploded three days ago at a depth of almost 1,700 meters in the North Atlantic Ocean.
