Switzerland - There was great concern for Marco Rima (62) when the comedian had to cancel his Austrian tour after a performance last week and go to the hospital.

Rima now reveals on his website what is really behind his stay in the clinic.

Fans worried about Marco Rima – comedian is struggling with kidney stones

In the short text, Marco Rima clears up the rumors about his condition.

He now gives his fans a “summary of the health situation”: The comedian had to undergo a “minor emergency operation” due to renal colic. This probably took place on the night of February 23rd after his performance in Pörtschach am Wörthersee.

The fans can breathe a sigh of relief: The ex-“Newsreel” star is “basically doing well,” writes Rima.

Apparently his health problem is kidney stones, which requires further treatment.

Marco Rima is now back in Switzerland, where the next steps are being clarified.

Above all, this includes “when, how and where I can 'get rid of' my gemstones - it's very unfortunate that they aren't diamonds,” says the comedian.

Marco Rima became known in Germany primarily through his appearances in “Die Wochenschau”.
