Ettringen - Early on Thursday morning, a serious traffic accident occurred on the MN 6 district road near Ettringen, in which a 62-year-old was fatally injured.

According to the police, a 62-year-old car driver was driving on the local road from Tussenhausen towards Ettringen.
In a wooded area he veered off the road to the right in a slight left-hand bend for unknown reasons.
The vehicle hit a tree and came to a stop.
First aiders immediately freed the victim from the vehicle and provided first aid until emergency services arrived.
However, the driver suffered such serious injuries in the accident that he died at the scene.
The reasons why the vehicle left the road are currently the subject of ongoing investigations by the Bad Wörishofen police station.

The county road was completely closed for around 1.5 hours while the accident was being recorded.
