The number of unemployed people in Brandenburg rose slightly in February compared to the previous month and February of the previous year.
85,171 people were registered as unemployed in the state in February, 353 more than in January, as the responsible regional directorate of the Federal Employment Agency announced on Thursday.
The unemployment rate was therefore 6.4 percent.
Berlin - That was 0.3 percentage points more than in the same month last year.
Compared to the same time last year, the number of unemployed rose by 3,783; the rate at that time was 6.3 percent.
For the statistics, the Federal Agency used data that was available up to February 14th.
