68% of French people consider that the head of state was wrong to display this position.

It is the supporters of the National Rally who most overwhelmingly disapprove (83%) of the president's remarks, followed by the Insoumis (67%), the LR (66%), the ecologists (63%) and finally the socialists (59%). .

Only the Macronist troops support the position of the head of state at 69%.

More than two years after Russia's invasion of eastern Ukraine, the conflict still worries more than three-quarters of French people (77%).

A level almost as high as in 2022 (86%).

Faced with war, a narrow majority of French people (51%) want Emmanuel Macron to maintain a form of status quo and consider Russia as

“a necessary evil with which we must deal”

.

37%, on the other hand, call on the head of state to consider Moscow as

“an adversary to be fought” and

only 11% as an ally.

Here again, RN (18%) and LFI (16%) supporters are the most likely to want a rapprochement with the Kremlin.

It must be said that less than four months before the European elections, the different camps are fighting over the Ukrainian issue.
