In advance of the inauguration of President
Javier Milei
's ordinary sessions in
Congress
, the pro-government deputies of La Libertad Avanza stopped to answer questions from journalists.
One of them was
Alberto "Bertie" Benegas Lynch,
who had an accident in front of the emblematic building.
There, a person rebuked him while he was giving his opinion on the presidential speech, he became upset with the passerby and left the press conference unexpectedly.
"Bertie" Benegas Lynch was asked if we should expect a confrontational speech from Milei.
While she began to respond, a person rebuked him.
"I think that's a lie," said a person who was close to the journalists.
First, "Bertie" laughed.
Seeing the attitude, that same person blurted out:
"They are a band of psychopaths."
Those words changed the libertarian deputy's countenance.
When asked by another media outlet, Benegas Lynch assured that he could not hear her because of that person's screams and said: "I don't hear your question because
there is an idiot here blowing up.
Is there any way to get him out? He is doing something very disruptive to you; if not, I'm leaving," said the deputy.
Then he turned around and left.
Moments after retiring, he spoke with
C5N
.
"There was someone who I don't know if he was a journalist or has a journalist's credential but he was being very disruptive at the press conference where he was answering questions and the questions couldn't be heard because someone was yelling and chattering," Bertie said.
Later, the official representative was consulted about the President's statement that Congress is a "rats' nest."
"It seems to me that whoever wants to take charge of that, will have to take charge of that. Whoever is thinking about changing the dynamics that Congress has and comes to the change does not have to take it for granted. I am part of Congress and "I don't take it for granted. The balance and the net result of Congress is that, it's a rat's nest," Benegas Lynch doubled down on the bet.

The national deputy of La Libertad Avanza said that the failed omnibus law and the DNU represent "25% of the structural changes that must be made in Argentina."
Benegas Lynch spoke about the meeting with the Chief of Staff
Before the conflict, Benegas Lynch stated: "There is a lot to cut from the weight of the State, what was presented is 25% of what needs to be done."
He also highlighted the meeting with the Chief of Staff of Ministers, Nicolás Posse: "As a title I would say it was: Letting the State get involved in free and voluntary agreements such as rental law, how to handle maternity leaves and it led to things of greater impact such as the issue of energy. To the extent that we respect the natural social cooperation of the market and respect for property, we are giving signals to the market, which is the people.
And he remarked: "Kirchnerism has left the entire stage of the problems that we are facing now."
