Behind the scenes of the Arkea Arena in Bordeaux, in the middle of January, it's time for rehearsals for some
Enfoirés
.
“
There is more seriousness than last year,”
confides Joyce Jonathan, who has been with the troupe for two years.
“We
learn certain dances a quarter of an hour before.
Everyone wants to do well, it’s a concert and a TV show for a good cause
,” she adds.
This won't stop some people from making a few missteps on stage.
“
But all these little flaws won’t be seen.
The magic of editing
,” sums up the singer, mischievously.
That evening, Joyce Jonathan had to see Vitaa and Jenifer again to rework a piece.
It is also sometimes necessary to relearn the texts of a neighbor who was not able to stay on all the dates and thus retain a new placement.
And then you have to deal with costume flaws.
This year, for example, the Chinese hat does not fit on Mentissa's head.
“
Sometimes we don't want hats and we don't know why
,” adds Nolwenn Leroy, who suffered the same problem last year.

All the songs broadcast as a bonus on TF1 are never performed in one and the same show.
You need at least two to catch the evening broadcast on TF1, March 1, 2024 this year.
The duration of a single show is very long, around five hours, since between each scene, the artists come in turn to perform a hit.

Spectators, who paid around 80 euros for a seat, got their money's worth.
What do the artists do once the performances are over?
We asked the question to those interested who told us about their end of the evening.
They often take place in the lobby of their hotel for impromptu jams.
“
As there were two shows today, everyone went to bed early last night
,” replies Joyce Jonathan.

Almost everyone is present.
Ycare, the composer of the 2024 anthem, and Lara Fabian are among the early sleepers.
“
It’s my first year but I’m already old, I watch them from afar with my chamomile in my hand
,” says Ycare.

It’s true, maybe on the last evening I will stop
,” dares the former coach of “The Voice”.
It must be said that the evenings drag on.
“
At 1 a.m., we order fries and Caesar salads
,” says Joyce Jonathan.
“At the
same time, we have dinner at 5:30 p.m.
,” she reminds us.
She describes a “
team building
” atmosphere and “
real osmosis and a lot of complicity
” between the members of the troupe.
“
It's not too bad, everyone goes to bed peacefully, in the morning we're fresh
,” she assures us.

During these evenings, bonds of friendship are forged.
In 1998, behind the scenes of the Enfoirés concert, Johnny Hallyday invited Lara Fabian to come and sing at the Stade de France months later.
This year, one of the new members of the group, Santa, fell in love with Slimane, who “took her
under his wing
”, she says, but also Patrick Fiori, whom she considers “
her adventure godfather
”.
“
He constantly compliments me and naturally adds blush to my cheeks
,” she jokes.
A Whatsapp group, created in 2020 during the Covid crisis, bringing together all the participants of the concert for the benefit of Restos du Cœur, is very active.
“
We sometimes have to put it on silent because we react all the time, all year round
,” Nolwenn Leroy tells us.
We send each other hearts and kisses
,” reveals the winner of Star Ac’ 2 who is paying extra attention to Mimie Mathy, who is absent this year for personal reasons.
“
We miss her, it’s weird, there’s something wrong
,” admits the singer.
