One of the ideological time bombs that the left has brought back within it is the fascination with the figure of the “Other”.

What could initially have been a simple open-mindedness towards people outside the norm at a given moment, a simple desire not to let tribalism rule public life, has turned into a desire to sacralize everything that was different.

To write “Other”, after a certain stage, is to despise one's own community and to glorify any destruction of its norms and customs.
