A spokesman classifies unusual visitor feedback about the attraction.
Munich – Visitors report on their experiences in the English Garden in over 60,000 Google reviews (as of the end of February 2024).
For the most part, these are positive, as evidenced by the average rating of 4.7 Google stars (one to five can be awarded).
But there are always amusing assessments to be read.
Visitors complain about the density of couples being too high or explain that there are too many students in the English Garden.
Our editorial team has submitted some unusual reviews to the Bavarian Administration of State Palaces, Gardens and Lakes.
A spokesman responded with a brief classification.

Millions of guests visit the southern part of the park every year.
It's a good thing that the English Garden is one of the largest inner-city parks in the world: the northern part of the park is usually significantly less visited - so if the south is too busy for you, this is also a good opportunity to enjoy nature.
The English Garden in the heart of Munich
The English Garden is located in the northeast of Munich on the west bank of the Isar.
With a total area of 375 hectares, it is one of the largest parks in the world.
Friedrich Ludwig von Sckell used English landscape gardens as a model when designing the site.
This is where the name came from for one of Munich's most famous sights.

This year, the main building of the Ludwig Maximilians University opened its doors in the immediate vicinity of the English Garden.
Even today, the English Garden is still the ideal place for students to take a short break between their lectures.

The English Garden is ideal for enjoying the garden monument on a long walk - from the English Teahouse to the Monopteros to the Kleinhesseloher See.
A variety of benches invite you to relax.
In one of the numerous beer gardens - whether Chinese Tower, Seehaus or Aumeister - you are sure to find a comfortable seat and cool refreshment afterwards.

No question, Grugapark is beautiful.
But the English Garden is also a unique garden monument due to its high artistic and cultural significance. Between 1804 and 1823, Friedrich Ludwig von Sckell managed to impressively combine outstanding garden art with the functional requirements of a public garden.
