Fürstenfeldbruck – Three strokes to liquid happiness – in this case to the Ritterbock from the König Ludwig brewery.

It was called the strong beer festival again!

The mood is exuberant among the around 370 visitors to the Marthabräuhalle.

After all, there is a lot on offer this evening: freshly tapped beer, a pointed Krügl speech, fun with the cabaret duo “Luggi and Guggi” and a dreamy yoga class with the emperor.

A peak here and there

Whether it's about the condolence book for the fallen weeping willow or about the Christmas lights hanging until February - Krügl speaker Wolfgang Ober knows what he's saying to the people of Brucker that evening - and also making them laugh a lot.

Here and there a tip against a politician and the head brewer has the audience on his side.

This is how he calls Andreas Lohde, who once again stood as a candidate in the mayoral election as the “Mayor of the Double Hearts”, jokes about the CSVP, the “Christian Social Event Pose” of state parliament member Benjamin Miskowitsch, and talks about the resolute demeanor of Bundestag member Michael Schrodi Berlin and about the silence of his CSU colleague Katrin Staffler.

At a strong beer festival you have to expect that you will become the topic of conversation, even if one or two people are conspicuous by their absence.

"Everything is possible, nothing is neccesary"

According to Ober, no money laundering in the Amper can save the city's debt, but he has an idea: simply pass the mountain of debt on to the residents, or "set up a toilet at the Viehmarktplatz and charge one euro per visit."

Bites to reduce debt, so to speak.

Anyone who has ever wondered what the Bruck city council and the Burg Ibiza swingers club have in common received Ober's quick-witted answer: "It's a bit haywire for both of them and there aren't enough women there!" For one, the motto is more the rule “A lot should, nothing can”, while on the other “everything can, nothing has to”.

Music with a difference

This year, the former carnival princess of Bruck and current Radio Arabella presenter Natascha Zillner moderated the evening smugly.

She skillfully led into the one-act play by the Brucker Brettl theater group, which this year featured a dreamy yoga class with an appearance by Emperor Franz.

“Luggi and Guggi” impressed musically and cabaretly.

They demonstrated that a shovel or a vacuum cleaner can also serve as an excellent musical instrument and thus gave the Holzkirchner music train a lot of competition.

Aroused desire?

The next strong beer festival in the Fürstenfeldbruck district will take place on Saturday, March 9th, in Mammendorf.
