For the 150th anniversary, Erling's fire department hosted the “Altneihauser Feierwehrkapell'n” in June.

– The festival committee of the Erling-Andechs Volunteer Fire Department is working at full speed.
The volunteer fire department will be 150 years old this year and will be celebrated at a festival weekend.
The date had been fixed for a long time - June 21st to 23rd.
Now the program is ready.
The Erlingers had imagined something special as the highlight, and with the Altneihauser Feierwehrkapell'n from the Upper Palatinate they succeeded.
Advance ticket sales have been going on since Thursday.
Since 1985, the cheeky band of comedians from the Altneihauser Feierwehrkapell'n have been leaving a devastatingly enjoyable impression in the television session “Fastnacht in Franconia”.
The name of the chapel is Bavarian and stands for Altneuhauser fire department band, derived from the Altneuhaus biotope in the Waldnaabtal nature reserve.
The nine men from Upper Palatinate fill festival tents and halls with up to 2,000 people.
In Andechs they perform in the Florianstadl - there is space for up to 700 visitors.
The “celebrants” are at home around Windischeschenbach.
Its commander has been Norbert Neugirg since 2009.
He plays the trumpet, writes the lyrics and thus contributes significantly to the completion of a 120-minute program.
Usually the ensemble can't resist a few swipes at local events - they get information about this from the hosts and they, the Erlingen firefighters, are already busy collecting information.
Festival weekend from Friday, June 21st
However, the festival weekend in June begins without the guests from Upper Palatinate.
On Friday, June 21st, the firefighters, together with the Erling-Andechs Boys and Girls Association, are organizing a huge blue light party in the fire station.
Only on Saturday, June 22nd, will the Altneihauser Feierwehrkapell'n perform in the Florianstadl.
The ceremony - apart from the celebratory service and parade - on Sunday, June 23rd, will again be celebrated in the fire station.
“That worked well at the inauguration of the fire station and at the vehicle dedication, and it will work well this time too,” says fire department board member Florian Frey, who asked the Altneihauser a year ago and was able to book them immediately.
Tickets for the performance in the Florianstadl are available in advance online at okticket.de or at the Edeka Benedikter in Erling at the box office for 38 euros per person.
Before the concert, physical well-being is provided in the foyer. Admission to the hall is from 7 p.m., the concert starts at 8 p.m.
