Burglars have hit the Maria-Stadler-Haus retirement home and the Haar Racket Park.
It wasn't the police who informed - but the mayor in the local council.
Haar
– Unknown perpetrators broke into the Maria-Stadler-Haus retirement home in Haar last weekend – and the Haar Racket Park was also hit by burglars.
It is possible that they are the same perpetrators, but the suspicion is at least reasonable.
Mayor Andreas Bukowski reports the actions to the local council
These break-ins were not made public by the police - but by Mayor Andreas Bukowski at the most recent municipal council meeting.
He announced this bad news in his report at the start of the meeting.
According to Bukowski, the perpetrators entered the Maria Stadler House via the main entrance and helped themselves to the cash register in the cafeteria.
The perpetrators escaped undetected through a window.
Perpetrators cause 30,000 euros worth of damage in the racket park
They didn't take anything in the racket park.
Luckily, a neighbor noticed something suspicious and alerted the police, the mayor said.
The perpetrators fled without loot.
However, they caused massive damage.
Andreas Bukowski spoke of 30,000 euros.
“A case for the insurance company, but very, very annoying,” he said.
Luckily the mayor informs
The fact that the break-ins did not appear in the police report can usually be explained as follows: The Haar police station is not allowed to say anything in such a case; that falls under the responsibility of the Munich police headquarters;
which, given the large number of cases, cannot report everything.
Lucky if the mayor steps in.
