Compensation and administrative regularization.

Following the difficulties which affected the bus network in the Chevreuse valley (Yvelines) last January, Île-de-France Mobilités announced two important measures in favor of users, during a situation update this Friday Morning.

Valérie Pécresse, president (LR) of the Region and Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM), came in person to the Rambouillet bus station.

“We will take charge of compensating schoolchildren over this one-month period.

Furthermore, student absences and late arrivals for the month of January will be regularized on Parcours Sup,” assured Île-de-France-Mobilités.

From the beginning of January, when Transdev had just taken over the Chevreuse valley network from the historic operator Savac, recurring problems had affected the entire service in the south of Yvelines.

Shortcomings that local elected officials had denounced in unison, with some mayors even going so far as to provide the shuttle themselves in their personal cars to transport users.

Transdev faces an ultimatum

Following this mobilization, Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) issued an ultimatum to the operator Transdev.

“The situation in the Chevreuse valley is not acceptable and we are monitoring the situation very closely.

Solutions have finally been found in the short term, Valérie Pécresse, president (LR) of the Ile-de-France region and IDFM, said at the time.

It is essential that operators can keep these commitments made in the contract.
