Be careful if you bought chocolate desserts.
The Charles & Alice brand is recalling several batches sold throughout France in recent weeks.
Two sheets were published on the official Rappel Conso website this Wednesday, February 28, 2024. They concern vegetable creams with coconut milk and chocolate.
According to the State Service, the products present
“possible fermentation leading to an acidic taste”
and
“a bulging lid”
.
Certain products, 350g pots, were distributed in all E. Leclerc stores from January 30 to February 28, with the barcode: 3297760084167. Others, 110g containers, were sold from February 3 to 28 : Franprix, Monoprix, Système U, Carrefour, ITM, Auchan, Casino and Cora.
The item barcode is: 3297760084006.
Creams not to consume
No direct health risk has been identified, these products are recalled as a precaution.
However, it is recommended not to consume Charles and Alice creams and to return them to the store for a refund.
