Godoy Cruz
, the best performing team in the Professional League Cup, visits this Thursday
Colo Colo
, from Chile, led by Argentine
Jorge Almirón
, in the second leg of phase 2 of the Copa Libertadores, with the obligation to win after the defeat they suffered in Mendoza by 1 to 0 last week.
The match is played at the Monumental stadium in Santiago de Chile, with Uruguayan Andrés Matonte as referee and broadcast by Fox Sports, Star+ and Pluto TV.
The winner of the series will face in phase 2, the last one prior to the group stage, Sportivo Trinidense (Paraguay) who beat El Nacional (Ecuador) as a visitor, in revenge.
In this last instance, the one who advances will play in the Libertadores group stage and the loser will go to the Copa Sudamericana.
Therefore, if the Mendoza team beats Colo Colo, it is ensured, at least, to compete in an international competition in 2024.
