New crisis in sight at OpenAI?
Billionaire Elon Musk, who initially financed the start-up behind ChatGPT, filed a complaint Thursday in San Francisco against the company and its co-founder and director Sam Altman.

According to the complaint, the advanced research laboratory in artificial intelligence abandoned its original mission and became a company now guided by profit.
Which would constitute a violation of the pact behind the creation of OpenAI.
OpenAI was created in 2015 in California.
Sam Altman and his right-hand man Greg Brockman had raised funds to build a non-profit research laboratory, the aim of which is to achieve the emergence of “artificial general intelligence” which would benefit humanity.
According to Elon Musk, OpenAI would have deviated from this mission with the arrival of Microsoft, which injected more than 10 billion dollars into the company.
If OpenAI continues its research work, it is not public.
The company is also expanding commercial products, such as Chat GPT Plus.
This accusation led to Sam Altman being fired by his board of directors in November 2023, before returning to his post after five incredible days.
The renegade directors have resigned, and a new board is being formed.
