The father, who came to demand accountability from a student, finally attacked a supervisor.
This Wednesday, around 8:30 a.m., an education assistant from the Jean-Moulin college in La Norville (Essonne) was hit by a parent of a student in front of the gates of the establishment.
To support their colleague, and denounce “increasing violence”, some of the staff were on strike this Friday.
“The staff of the establishment wished to exercise their right to strike within the framework of a notice period,” confirms the Versailles academy.
Parents were informed by management at the end of the day on Thursday and the students who showed up that day were welcomed.

Two days after the attack, the scene continues to haunt the victim's colleagues.
“The day before, the father had already come to the school twice,” denounces an education assistant.
He also announced that he would return.
» When this angry dad saw the teenager he was looking for, he rushed after him.
“That’s when our colleague intervened, but without violence,” said another striker.
In front of him, the father sees red and slaps him.
“We brought the student back into the establishment and our colleague was taken care of by the school nurse,” he continues.
Fortunately, he did not suffer serious injuries.
» The supervisor filed a complaint “and requested functional protection”, underlines the rectorate.
According to our information, support has been put in place within the college.
“The listening unit was present this Thursday and will be there again on Monday,” explains Nicolas Olive, technology teacher and Force Ouvrière union representative.

Within the team, the troops are starting to feel fed up.
“Some parents are aggressive with us,” the strikers say.

We are obviously afraid that this will happen again.

Contacted this Friday evening, the Évry-Courcouronnes public prosecutor's office confirmed that an investigation into intentional violence aggravated, in particular by the status of the victim who is responsible for a public service mission, was opened after the attack.
