“It’s astonishing.”
Questioned this Friday on BFMTV-RMC, La France Insoumise MP Clémentine Autain confided her “feeling of betrayal” against Gérard Miller, accused of sexual violence by several women.
“It is obviously deafening, it is astonishing, there is a feeling of betrayal because what is revealed is a system with a process which is always the same, which is repeated, including on minors” denounced the MP known for her feminist commitments.
“When you have someone who is in our political family, who defends the cause of women, who engages in feminist discourse, to find yourself faced with that, it is unbearable,” she added.
“The Miller rumor never reached me”
Unlike Denis Beaupin, former environmentalist deputy implicated for sexual assault in 2016 and Dominique Strauss-Kahn, where "there was a rumor", "the rumor about Gérard Miller never reached me", underlined the LFI MP.
“Between the Gérard Miller affair and everything that is happening in the world of cinema, I want to say to the great politicians: but where are they?
What do they say ?
» she asked, calling, like actress Judith Godrèche, for the creation of a parliamentary commission of inquiry into sexual violence in the world of cinema.

Psychoanalyst Gérard Miller accused of rape and sexual assault under hypnosis by three women
The Paris prosecutor's office has opened a preliminary investigation against the psychoanalyst and media columnist, after several accusations of sexual violence.
Elle magazine says it has heard from 67 women, five of whom denounce rape and 22 sexual assault.
“Certain that I have not committed any offense and ready to respond to each of the alleged facts, I now wish to reserve my word for the judicial institution,” indicated Gérard Miller on February 23 in a written statement.
