“Tatort” actress Stefanie Reinsperger sees problems in the acting industry and insists on changes.

She demands: More respect and women.

Dortmund – Stefanie Reinsperger (36) has been part of the Dortmund “crime scene” investigative team since 2021 – but the actress also feels at home on the theater stage.

But despite her success in the industry, she can't get used to some circumstances.

Women in the minority: “Tatort” star Stefanie Reinsperger calls for a revolution in the TV industry

The ARD is currently modernizing “Tatort” and replacing many well-known inspectors with new talent in the acting firmament.

If Rosa Herzog actress Stefanie Reinsperger has her way, the TV industry doesn't need to be rejuvenated, but rather more feminine.

In an interview with

“It is also the case in my job that it is still very male-dominated in terms of perspectives and the way of telling stories.

“I’m often on sets or in rehearsal situations where more than half of those involved are men,” says the TV star.

Although this cannot be generalized, it will have to change in the future with regard to the entire television business.

Her current project “The City Forester” showed her how it works properly.

As a woman, she was not in the minority there.

“It does something like communicating and exchanging ideas.

It was refreshing and enriching,” she emphasizes.

Farewell to her “Tatort” colleague Rick Okon – Dortmund gets a new investigator

Rick Okon played the role of Inspector Jan Pawlak in Dortmund's “Tatort” for six years.

The last appearance with him was on February 18, 2024 with the episode “Cash” - the actor will no longer be seen in the ARD series in the future.

At first he wasn't supposed to be replaced, but now it's clear: the Dortmund team gets support - and female ones.

After Rick Okon's “Tatort” exit, the series gets a new investigator.

Stefanie Reinsperger has often had to tolerate disrespectful behavior

What really bothers Stefanie Reinsperger is the way people talk to each other in the industry.

Men in particular would often use their tone incorrectly towards her.

“Certain things” have changed in recent years – but she thinks there is “still room for improvement.”

The native Austrian also has a suggested solution: “The decision-makers have to change.

I am convinced that if we have a diverse management level, then other material will automatically be written, produced and told.”

She has had good experiences with her current project “Großstadtförsterin” – but overall “Tatort” star Stefanie Reinsperger would like to see more women and more respect in the acting industry.

The television industry has recently been criticized more frequently.

Many trained actors are also bothered by the fact that more and more career changers are getting the chance for big jobs.

Because of the many influencers on the “Dream Ship”, ZDF has had to take swipes from all sides.
