The head of the City Government,

Jorge Macri

, inaugurates this Friday the period of

ordinary sessions in the Buenos Aires Legislature

with the focus on security reforms, the organization of public space and the announcement of "fiscal austerity" measures.

The ceremony will take place from 9 a.m. in the Parliament session room, located at Perú 160, where Macri will be accompanied by the Deputy Head of Government,

Clara Muzzio

, and the First Vice President of the Legislature,

Matías López

.

Less than three months after taking office, it will be the first time that Jorge Macri complies with the constitutional precept of "opening the ordinary sessions of the Legislature and reporting on the general state of the administration," as established in article 105. of the City Constitution.

The truth is that the head of the Buenos Aires Government will speak before a fragmented Legislature made up of eleven blocks, among which he will seek to form majorities for the sanction of the initiatives that he will present in his presentation tomorrow.

However, approval will be difficult since the Buenos Aires ruling party and its possible allies will not initially have the necessary votes since they have 30 seats out of the 60 in total.
