The Higher Administrative Court in Münster has cleared the way for the candidate selected by NRW Justice Minister Benjamin Limbach (Greens) to be president of the court.
The court announced on its own behalf on Friday that the presidential position could be filled by the applicant.
Münster - After urgent applications from unsuccessful applicants, administrative courts stopped the appointment process.
The country's complaints against it were now successful.
The Higher Administrative Court found that there was no reliable evidence to support the Münster Administrative Court's assumption that Justice Minister Limbach had designed the selection process in a manipulative manner.
Limbach came under political pressure as a result of the first instance decisions.
