History repeats itself for Anne-Sophie Lapix.
The presenter of France 2's 8 p.m. news was once again the target of an attempted burglary at her Parisian home (16th century), a month after having suffered two break-in attempts.
The police went to the journalist's home on Thursday, shortly after 10 p.m., to observe, in her presence, an attempted break-in on the first floor of her mansion, according to a police source.
On site, the police spotted “weighing marks at a window of a room on the first floor overlooking the rear of the mansion”, potentially left “between (Wednesday) and (Thursday) evening” .
First two attempts in January
At the end of January, Anne-Sophie Lapix had already surprised a man trying to break open her front door with a crowbar.
Then, a few days later, while police were keeping a close eye on the home, five men were spotted trying to break into the journalist's home.

Taking their vehicle after fleeing, the five suspects were then arrested by the police a few kilometers further, then referred two days later, before finally being incarcerated.
These burglary attempts are added to a long list of break-ins observed at celebrities' homes for several months.
At the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024, the starred chef Jean-François Piège, the singer Vitaa, the hosts Bruno Guillon and Nikos Aliagas, or very recently the TV presenter Jean-Luc Reichmann, also faced intrusions or attempted intrusions at their homes.
