The police stopped a drunk Opel driver in Osterwarngau. The 61-year-old now faces a fine and a driving ban.
Warngau - During a general traffic check on Thursday, February 29th, around 6:30 p.m., the Holzkirchen police caught a 61-year-old Opel driver from Warngau on Schmidhamer Straße in Osterwarngau.
According to the police, the officers smelled a clear smell of alcohol from the driver.
A voluntary breath alcohol test showed a value well above the 0.5 alcohol limit.
The result was confirmed by an alcohol test that could be used in court.
Further travel was stopped and the vehicle was parked safely.
The Opel driver is being investigated for “driving under the influence of alcohol”.
He can expect a fine and a driving ban.
