After the fatal shots allegedly fired by a 32-year-old Bundeswehr soldier in the Rotenburg (Wümme) district, the Verden public prosecutor's office provided information about the four dead.
Accordingly, the victims in the Scheeßel community are 55 and 30 years old, as a spokesman for the public prosecutor's office said.
At the second crime scene - in Bothel - a three-year-old child and the 33-year-old mother were killed.

Several media outlets had previously reported on the age of the victims.
The suspect is said to have committed the crimes on Friday night.
