Emmanuel Macron chose an illustration from street art.
A mural which appears on rue Buot, which overlooks the (aptly named) rue de l'Espérance, in the 13th arrondissement of Paris.
It shows an alert little girl wearing the blue and yellow colors of Ukraine crushing tanks with her foot.
In the same spirit, the President of the Republic invited 21 heads of state, government or their ambassadors (from North America and Europe) to the Élysée this Monday, February 26.
To reaffirm support for Ukraine, on the second anniversary of the Russian attack.
“The outcome of this war will be decisive,”
he said, “
for European interests, values and security.”
