As a result of the fire in a garbage can in front of a house in Heilbronn, four people were slightly injured and taken to a clinic with suspected smoke poisoning.
According to the police's initial findings, the garbage can caught fire early on Friday morning for reasons that were initially unclear, a spokesman said.
The smoke moved into the neighboring house through open windows.
Heilbronn - The police assumed that the house was still habitable.
She estimated the damage caused at around 50,000 euros.
