“Crimemarket” is an Internet shopping platform for criminals.
They receive criminal services as well as detailed instructions on serious crimes or drugs.
Now the police have intervened.
Düsseldorf -181,000 registered users, 25 million euros in sales, six arrests: There were more than 100 searches in the nationwide police operation against the largest German-speaking criminal trading platform on the Internet.
The investigators reported this on Friday in Düsseldorf.
The operator of “Crimemarket”, a 23-year-old, was arrested in Korschenbroich in the Lower Rhine region.
He is being investigated for money laundering and computer fraud.
The investigators in Iceland secured the server.
The platform was accessible to everyone on the Internet.
Accordingly, many minors also used them.
500 police officers were deployed in North Rhine-Westphalia alone.
