On video: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a statement in Kirya 29.02.24/le
The weekly mandate survey conducted for the "Maariv" newspaper states that Benny Gantz is leading by a considerable margin along with his party.
This week he is strengthened by 2 mandates and reaches 41 with the state camp.
This is according to the "Maariv" survey, conducted by Lazar Research led by Dr. Menachem Lazar, in collaboration with Panel4All.
If the elections were held today, according to the findings of the survey, the aforementioned state camp party would gain 2 seats and reach 41. Likud would remain with 18 mandates, Yesh Atid (12) and Otzma Yehudit (9) decrease in mandate each, and the other parties are unchanged from last week.
The gap is growing.

Torah Judaism stands at 6 mandates, Hadash-Ta'al of Ayman Odeh and Ahmed Tibi at 5, similar to last week.
Meretz, who is not in the current Knesset, stands at 5, and Mansor Abbas's Prime Minister at 4 mandates - closes the list of parties. Those who continue not to pass the blocking percentage are religious Zionism, which stands at 2.8%, the work after the decision on the date of primaries for the party increases slightly to 2.5%, but still far from the percentage of blocking, and in Israel it does not pass the percentage of blocking either - with 1.7%.
In the division between the coalition and the opposition overall, this week the coalition weakens in terms of mandate to 43, while the current opposition gains one mandate to 68.
On the question of suitability for prime minister, Benny Gantz stands at about 50%, while no less than 88% of Yesh Atid voters see him as more suitable than Benjamin Netanyahu.
Netanyahu himself stands in the general survey at 33% who see him as suitable.
The striking statistic is that about a fifth (22%) of those who voted for Likud in the 2022 elections believe that Benny Gantz is suitable for the prime ministership.
About 17% do not prefer either of the two.
