Stefan Murr from Bad Tölz shone as Hubert Aiwanger in the Nockherberg Singspiel.

But due to illness he played under difficult conditions.

Bad Tölz

– An audience of millions watched the Lenten sermon and musical play on the Nockherberg again on Wednesday evening.

After the game, it is customary for politicians to join their doubles on stage and be available for short interviews.

But that wasn't the case this year with Hubert Aiwanger and his actor Stefan Murr.

After the applause, Stefan Murr immediately leaves the stage

The reason is not displeasure.

As Murr reported in an interview with our newspaper on Thursday, a gastrointestinal virus broke out on Sunday.

“After the performance and the applause, I went straight off the stage to lie down,” says the Tölz actor.

As a double for Free Voters leader Aiwanger, Murr played a key role.

“There would have been no Plan B if I hadn’t been able to,” says the Tölzer.

“Then Aiwanger would have been out.

The whole ensemble was shaking with me.” To protect himself, he was released from rehearsals on Monday and dragged himself to the dress rehearsal on Tuesday.

“The whole thing is absolutely important.

Everything has to be spot on.”

There was no sign of illness during the singing game

It is customary not to fill roles twice at Nockherberg.

In recent years there have been colleagues with voice problems, “but things like that can be solved with medication or injections.”

When it comes to gastrointestinal diseases, however, you are “totally at the mercy of your body”.

That's why Murr is grateful that everything went well and he was able to play his role as planned.

You didn't notice anything about him during the performance.

The Tölzer is pleased that the Singspiel received good reviews.

“The Nockherberg is fascinating every year,” he says from his perspective as a participant.

“When do you ever have the opportunity to play people who are sitting right in front of you?” He pays respect to politicians.

“I think it’s not easy.”

The CD recording takes place for “Little Red Riding Hood”.
