At the Key renewables fair in Rimini, Italian Green Factory (Igf) debuts, the Tea Tek group company born with the acquisition of the former Whirlpool site in Naples and the hiring of the entire pool of workers.
The new company, founded a few weeks ago, presented its first product, an electric transformer for power skids (the central power island of a photovoltaic system) designed to work with biodegradable fluids with low Co2 emissions.
"The new company - explains the CEO of Igf, Felice Granisso - wants to be an example of reshoring in the photovoltaic sector, bringing back to Italy productions that today depend heavily on foreign countries. An intervention plan for 72 million euros is envisaged, which will allow IGF the production of solar trackers, Power skids, transformers and the creation of a Green Innovation Center".
"Igf's first product was born in the name of sustainability - concludes Granisso - like the new green factory in Naples, which will 100% regenerate the former Whirlpool area in viaArgine. Here a plant will be built, powered by renewable energy, open to the territory and surrounded by a green band".
