Verena Kerth and Marc Terenzi have been engaged for over a year.
Now they have revealed why the wedding hasn't worked out yet.
Munich - It was one of the moments of the jungle camp 2023 that the viewers remembered: After Verena Kerth (42) moved out, singer Marc Terenzi (45) got down on his knees in front of the cameras and proposed to his girlfriend.
The two have been engaged ever since, but nothing more happened in the entire following year.
Verena Kerth and Marc Terenzi: Still not married
Only in the fall did it briefly look as if Verena and Marc had tied the knot in Las Vegas when they shared pictures on Instagram that showed them dressed as bride and groom, cheering in front of a chapel.
But as it turned out, they hadn't actually gotten married.
But why is it that the engagement has not yet been taken to the next step?
At the “Best Brands Gala” at the Bayerischer Hof in Munich, “bunte.de” met Verena Kerth and Marc Terenzi and asked them about their wedding plans.
Verena admitted that she was now a bit “under pressure” because people were now asking about it everywhere – albeit “justifiably”.

Marc Terenzi then shed some light on why they haven't gotten married yet: "It's taking a while because of all the countries," said the Italian-American Terenzi.
He explained that his family comes from the US, Canada, Italy and "everywhere" and that it was "a little difficult" to get everyone in one place.
“But we can manage it,” said Terenzi confidently.

According to “Bunte,” there still isn’t a specific date, and Verena Kerth didn’t want to reveal what the dream wedding would ultimately look like: “We don’t talk about that.
I'm really superstitious about it." So all we have to do is wait and see whether we'll actually get married in the near future and how we'll celebrate.
That's what Marc Terenzi and Verena Kerth said last September when asked why they haven't married yet.
