A group of thieves stole a wheel loader at the Eglingen solar park construction site.

The owner is relying on witnesses and has offered a reward.

Egling - A gang of thieves made literally heavy loot on the solar park construction site in Egling on State Road 2070. As the Wolfratshausen police report, several people stole a wheel loader from the Egling construction company Hastra from the construction site between Egling and Egling on the night of last Tuesday to Wednesday Neufahrn district.

Hastra managing director Andreas Hamberger relies on witnesses – and is offering a reward.

“We only know one thing for sure: the action was well organized,” Hamberger told our newspaper.

He discovered traces of his yellow Zettelmeyer wheel loader on the adjacent cycle path.

“Tire tracks lead all the way there.” According to the road builder’s assumption, the gang of thieves loaded the stolen construction machine at the same point for transport.

“One person saw a truck waiting on a gravel road next to the bike path.”

A security service does not monitor the construction site, explains Hamberger.

“We installed a camera.

But they only film the construction site.” Public areas – including the cycle path and the gravel road – are legally excluded from video surveillance.

Hamberger wants to reward information that leads to finding the work equipment with 1,000 euros.

The police say they are already investigating the case.

The value of the construction machine is estimated at around 20,000 euros.

The security authority also names a specific period of time of the crime.

The perpetrators are said to have struck between Tuesday, 6:15 p.m. and Wednesday, 8:30 a.m.

The Wolfratshausen police will receive information on 0 81 71/4 21 10.
